WILMINGTON, Del. – Delaware men's tennis picked up its second win of the season as it handled Villanova, 6-1, on Sunday. The Blue Hens advance to 2-1 overall, while the Wildcats fall to 0-2.

"We played good tennis today," Director of Tennis Pablo Montana said. "We were definitely playing with confidence. We took our chances when we needed to and stayed aggressive throughout the entire match. We will use this confidence as we prepare for Quinnipiac this weekend."

All three doubles pairings won, with Euan Mackenzie and Tobey Lock clinching the doubles point with the win at number two.

All six singles matchups were won in straight sets on Sunday, with the Blue Hens on the winning side of five of them. James Wilkinson, Luis Mollina, Daniel Krulig, Bernardo Teixeira, and Udayan Bhakar won with ease. Sunday's match was the Delaware debut for graduate transfer Bhakar.

The Hens have a week-long break before heading to New England for a match at Quinnipiac on Saturday.
