RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware women's basketball freshman forward Darrionna Howard was named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week, announced by league officials Monday afternoon. This is the first award of Howard's young career.

The Smithfield, N.C. native finished with 13 points, shooting an efficient 62.5 percent (5-8) from the floor, and 12 rebounds (three offensive) to secure her first-career double-double.
