Women’s Golf Leads Field After Round One of Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite

EATONTON, Ga. – Delaware women's golf started its spring season off strong, leading the field with a score of 301 after one round of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite hosted by Mercer.
The Hens' first-round performance was headlined by Alisa Khokhlova, who paced the field by leading all scorers with a 71 (-1), birdieing on three holes. Khokhlova was the only player to finish above par in the first round.
Oihana Etxezarreta, playing as an individual, tied for fourth with a score of 73 (+1), while Christina Carroll joined her in the top ten by firing a 74 (+2).
Delaware finished with a 301 on the par-72, 6,001-yard Great Waters course to lead the pack. Georgia Southern was not far behind with a score of 303, while Mercer and East Carolina each had 304.
Round two will begin Saturday morning.
