Men’s Tennis Stumbles at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – Delaware men's tennis (11-3) stumbled Saturday afternoon against Princeton (11-9) and fell to the Tigers 6-1.

"We fought hard and competed well today even though we came up short," Director of Tennis Pablo Montana said. "Kudos to Princeton and their coaching staff as they did a great job! We will learn from this and continue to improve as we prepare for UNCW on Tuesday."

Princeton took the early lead with a pair of 6-2 decisions to claim the doubles point. In singles action, the Tigers continued to be victorious, up until the number six singles bout.

The Hens return to match action on Tuesday when they take on UNCW in Wilmington, N.C.
