Women’s Golf Finishes Round One of CAA Championships in Third Place

SOUTHPORT, N.C. – After one round of the CAA Championships, Delaware women's golf sits in third place.
The Blue Hens fired a team score of 300 (+12), finishing day one behind Charleston and UNCW.
Anna Kittelson scored a 72, remaining even through the first round. Kittelson is tied for third among all scorers, and her five birdies are tied for the most among all scorers.
Alisa Khokhlova and Lilia Henkel sit tied for sixth with scores of 75. Khokhlova recorded the lone eagle among all teams in the tournament in the first round.
Delaware paced the field with 15 birdies.
The second round will begin on Saturday.
