Football Kickoff Time at Towson Changed to 1 p.m.

NEWARK, Del. – The kickoff time for the University of Delaware football team's game at Towson on October 28 has been moved to 1 p.m. The change is to avoid a TV scheduling conflict with Monumental (formerly NBC Sports Washington).
The Blue Hens and Tigers will be meeting for the 23rd time, with UD holding a 13-9 series advantage. Last season, Delaware defeated Towson 24-10 as Nolan Henderson had two touchdown passes, Chandler Harvin caught three passes for 105 yards and a score and Kyron Cumby ran for a 65-yard score. The Blue & Gold finished with 534 yards of total offense, while the defense held Towson to just 159 total yards, including 20 yards in the second half.
The Blue Hens open the 2023 season on Thursday, August 31 with a CAA road matchup at Stony Brook. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Delaware will play its home opener on Saturday, September 16 against Saint Francis at Delaware Stadium. Season ticket memberships, flexible partial plans and individual game tickets for all six of UD's home games are on sale now.
