Football Sits at No. 19/22 in Rankings

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware football team did not move much in the national rankings after its defeat to FBS seventh-ranked Penn State on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hens continue to sit at No. 19 in the AFCA Coaches Poll while slipping to No. 22 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25.

Playing in front of 108,575 fans at Penn State's Beaver Stadium, the Blue & Gold trailed by just one score after the first quarter following Marcus Yarns' 66-yard touchdown run. However, the Nittany Lions pulled away for the 63-7 win.

UP NEXT
The Blue Hens will return home to Delaware Stadium on Saturday for its home opener against Saint Francis. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
