CARY, N.C. – The University of Delaware's doubles flight of Eliza Askarova and Alex Staiculescu competed at the ITA All-American Championships Saturday, falling to fourth-ranked Florida State.
ON THE RECORD
"We started off great and came out with an early break to go up 2-0, but they quickly bounced back and raised the level," Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana said. "We hung in there for as long as we could and we had a few opportunities that we did not convert on, but at the end of the day, I give credit to Florida State as they were more aggressive than us. We will learn from this and bounce back tomorrow."
