WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The University of Delaware women's soccer 2024 campaign comes to an end after a loss to Hofstra in the Coastal Athletic Association tournament by a score of 1-0 in overtime on Thursday.

The Blue Hens overall record to end the season is 6-7-6.

ON THE RECORD
"So proud of the way we played tonight. We played an intelligent brand of soccer that deserved to be seen again. Our seniors left this program better than they found it and their legacy will live on for decades. We're building something really special here and I couldn't be prouder of this team for what we have achieved this season. Thank you to our amazing support staff. We had an army at the game today helping us prepare. Thank you to our traveling fans who filled the whole stand and lastly thank you to Liisi Vink-Linas, Shannon Coley and Maddy Evans for being on this ride with me and being exceptional servant leaders," head coach Kelly Lawrence said.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

The Blue Hens out-shot the Pride 14-13 on the day and had three shots on goal. UD also held the advantage in corner kicks at 5-3.
Olivia Bley led the way with four of the 14 shots and two of the three shots on goals
Kyla Burns played 94 minutes in net and collected four saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The game-winning goal from the Pride was scored in the 94th minute. After Burns attempted to save the shot, the ball hit off multiple heads and eventually found the back of the net.
