Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware baseball program announced its 2025 schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The Blue Hens are led by third-year head coach Greg Mamula. They finished 31-26 (16-11 in conference play) and made an appearance in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) tournament for the second-straight season in 2024.
The 2025 season begins with two road series in Florida starting with Florida Atlantic from February 14-16, followed by Florida International from February 21-23.
In between those two-road series in Florida, UD will play at Maryland on February 18. The 2025 home opener at Bob Hannah Stadium is on February 25 against Delaware State.
Following their Delaware State game, the Blue Hens host three-straight non-conference series, starting with Bryant (Feb. 28-March 2), Penn (March 8-9), and finishing against Siena (March 14-16).Â
In between those three series, the Blue Hens travel to Rutgers (March 4), Penn (March 7), and Saint Joseph's (March 18).
CAA play kicks off with a home series against Stony Brook from March 21-23. The Blue Hens host Towson (April 4-6), North Carolina A&T (April 18-20), Hofstra (April 25- 27) and Campbell (May 15-17). They will play Elon (March 28-30), Charleston (April 11-13), Northeastern (May 2-4), and Monmouth (May 9-11) on the road.
The Blue Hens will compete in the Liberty Bell Classic. The series starts on March 25 with a road game against Lafayette. Round two will either be at St. Joe's or Penn on April 1. The Liberty Bell Classic Championship game will take place on April 8 at Citizens Bank Park. UD won the Liberty Bell Classic Championship last season, its first since 2013.
UD plays non-conference games against Maryland (April 8 or 9), Penn State (April 15), St. Joe's (April 22), Maryland Eastern Shore (April 29), Georgetown (May 6), and Delaware State (May 13) in between its conference series.
The CAA Tournament will take place from May 21-25 in Charleston, S.C. with the NCAA Regionals taking place from March 30-June 1.
