ELKTON, Md. – With a 6-1 win over Bucknell on Sunday, the University of Delaware men's tennis team picked up its fifth-straight win to move to 5-0 on the season.
ON THE RECORD
"What a great way to finish the weekend with a strong win against a good team that competes hard on every match," Head Ment's Tennis Coach Marc Pibernat said. "I take my hat off to the Bucknell student-athletes for how hard they competed and how respectful and fair they played. Focusing on us now, Coach Nate and I could not be more proud of the team. We all worked very hard this past week to be prepared for the weekend and it definitely paid off. The team is still getting better day by day and we still have much room for improvement to be the best version of ourselves. We will rest tomorrow and go back on Tuesday to prepare for our two matches next weekend."
