Women’s Tennis Grinds Out 4-3 Win Over LIU

WILMINGTON, Del. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team pulled off a gritty 4-3 win over LIU on Friday for the program's fifth-straight win. The Blue Hens move to 7-4 overall, while the Sharks drop to 3-3.
ON THE RECORD
"I thought we put up some gritty performances against a tough LIU team," assistant coach Lucy Harper said. "I was impressed with the way the girls came out in doubles and how they used this momentum to get off to some solid starts in singles. We will now rest up and turn our attention to our double header this coming Sunday."
