On April 15, 2024, the ITA National Ranking Committee ruled that Delaware violated ITA Rule I.D.3, Players must play in order of ability. As a result, the match between William & Mary and Delaware will be nullified, and there will be no winner of the dual match. Since all individual matches were played in good faith, individual results will stand.

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware women's tennis picked up its first-ever win against William & Mary Sunday afternoon, 4-3. UD had dropped the first 10 outings before Sunday's victory against the Tribe. The Blue Hens move to 16-6, 4-0 CAA and the Tribe drop to 12-6, 4-1 CAA.

ON THE RECORD
"We started off well in doubles and capitalized off that momentum," graduate student Alex Staiculescu said. "We wanted this one really bad and it's going to provide us with a lot of confidence moving forward."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Delaware used a tiebreaker set in No. 3 doubles to clinch the doubles point for the 1-0 early lead.
Maryia Hrynashka claimed the win in singles to move her season mark to a team-best 22-6.
Slade Coetzee made quick work in defeating her opponent for another straight set singles win.
Alex Staiculescu clinched the match for UD in convincing fashion from the No. 6 singles slot.
