Women's Soccer Closed Regular Season With Tie Over LA Tech

RUSTON, La. – The University of Delaware women's soccer program concludes its 2025 regular season campaign with a 1-1 victory against LA Tech on Sunday.

With the tie, the Fightin' Blue Hens overall record is 10-2-5 and is 3-2-3 with 12 points in conference play.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Maggie Groh scored the Blue Hens lone goal of the game. She was assisted by Maura Fisher.
Groh led the offense with six shots.
Sophia Hall had six saves on the game, five of which came in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Groh's goal came in the 17^th minute of the first half.
The Blue Hens had a series of three shots in 30 seconds, Lilli Lubic's shot was blocked, Gabby Riley's shot was saved by the LA Tech team, but Groh found the back of the net thanks to a pass from Fisher.
LA Tech scored a goal in 65^th minute to tie the game.

GAME NOTES

Groh scored her fifth goal of the season, and leads the team in overall points with 15
Fisher recorded her second assist of the season
The Blue Hens have won 10 games for the first time since 2019. The Blue Hens went 12-7 overall.
For the second year in a row, the Blue Hens will compete in the conference tournament.

The CUSA Tournament begins next Sunday. Delaware clinched the six seed and will play Sam Houston State at 1:30 p.m. ET
