Women's Tennis Has Strong Weekend at Delaware Fall Classic

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team competed at the Delaware Fall Classic, hosting Seton Hall, Army, and Georgetown this weekend.
ON THE RECORD
"This was a solid weekend of tennis with the team winning all three dual matches, Montana said." "We're in a good place physically and played strong through three tough days of competition. We're still figuring out the best doubles combinations, but we're improving with each match. I'm excited to see how we measure up this week at the ITA Regionals against the best players in our region."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- The Fightin' Blue Hens took all three dual matches, helped by strong play in both singles action.
- Delaware went 23-5 in singles play on the weekend.
- Maryia Hrynashka, Paulina Jurkowska, Lara Russiniello, Payton Tomichek, and Hanna Vinahradava went undefeated in singles play on the weekend.
- The doubles duo of Gorman and Vadlamudi remains undefeated at 4-0.
- Vinahradava leads the Hens at 7-0 in singles action. She has surpassed her win total in singles from the 2025-26 season (5) in only home tournament play.
