Cross Country Placed 15th at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

BETHLEHEM, Pa – The University of Delaware cross country team concluded its 2025 campaign at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, hosted by Lehigh, on Friday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens finished 15th out of 30 teams.
RESULTS
Marie-Theres Gruber was the top finisher for the Blue Hens. She came in 21st place with a time of 20:04.80. This was the best finish for a Blue Hens athlete since 2021 when Tina Capparel finished in 5th place. She is also the first all-region athlete since Mackenzie Jones in 2019.
Following Gruber was Kadence Dumas, who finished in 80th place with a time of 21:43.90. Rounding out the top five were Erin McGoey in 99th place at 21:59.90, Rachel Starr in 104th place at 22:06.70 and Lauren Thomas at 22:30.60 in 128th place.
In addition, Leah Clear (130th place, 22:35.10), and Nina Sgambelluri (157th place, 22:57.00) also competed in today's regional race.
