NEWARK, Del. – Head Coach Ryan Carty and the University of Delaware football team announced the signing of three newcomers during Wednesday’s National Signing Day. The three new additions, who all play on the offensive side of the ball, will join the Blue Hens as members of the Delaware Class of 2029.
The trio joins the 18 newcomers who signed during the early signing period in December. Overall, the 21-member freshman class includes 11 defensive and 10 offensive players. The group consists of 13 student-athletes who were ranked three-star recruits by major recruiting outlets, 20 who were team captains of their high school programs, and 18 who were multi-sport athletes. The class combined to win five state championships and 15 other championships on the gridiron during their high school careers.
Additionally, the Blue Hens added six impact transfers in December and January. Information on the full signing class can be found here.
