DALLAS – Conference USA released the 2025 preseason watch list, as selected by the league's 12 head coaches on Friday. Five student-athletes from each of the conference's 12 member institutions are recognized as key players to watch ahead of the 2025 season. For the Fightin' Blue Hens, the list featured OL Fintan Brose, LB Gavin Moul (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park), OL Anwar O'neal, K Nate Reed, and S KT Seay.
Brose appeared in four games last season with one start after two-consecutive All-CAA Third Team campaigns in 2022 and 2023. The Irwin, Pa. native has made 26 starts along the offensive line in his career.
Moul was an All-CAA Honorable Mention selection last season after he started all 11 games for the Blue & Gold at linebacker. The Bethel Park, Pa. native led the team with 71 tackles and finished second with 6.0 TFLs.
O'neal was an All-CAA Honorable Mention during the 2024 campaign. He started all 11 games on an offensive line that allowed just 17 sacks. The line also paved the way for a rushing attack that averaged 184.2 rush yards per game.
Reed, who set the Delaware single-season record with 47 touchbacks, was an All-CAA Honorable Mention honoree. He played in all 11 games and finished 7-of-10 on field goals with a long of 41. The Manheim, Pa. native tallied 56 total points on the year after going 35-of-39 on PAT attempts.
Seay finished his sophomore season as an All-CAA Third Team honoree. He started all 11 games for the Hens as he paced the squad with four interceptions and finished fifth with 38 tackles.
