Gingrich ‘24 Joins Football Staff as Offensive Analyst

NEWARK, Del. – A 2024 University of Delaware alumnus, Brock Gingrich, is returning as an offensive analyst, head coach Ryan Carty announced Thursday.
"It's always a desire to bring a program alum back home to Delaware Football, but especially someone of Brock's caliber," Carty said. "Brock was an incredible student-athlete for us, being recognized as an all-american. He has been a great representative of not only our football program, but the entire university."
Gingrich stays in Newark after playing five seasons for the Blue Hens from 2020-24.
"It's easy to come back to a place that you called home for 5 years," Gingrich said. "This place is special! I want to thank Coach Carty and the entire football staff for giving me the opportunity to continue my tenure in Newark."
The Reinholds, Pa. native was a mainstay on the offensive line, appearing in 45 career games with 39 starts at center. A two-time team captain, Gingrich was named to the 2024 Stats Perform All-American Second Team, Phil Steele FCS 2024 All-American Fourth Team, and 2024 Division I FCS All-ECAC Team, while also earning All-CAA First Team honors in 2024.
Since Gingrich took over as the starting center in 2021, UD's rushing offense has improved every season, jumping nearly 65 yards per game on average. Last season, he spearheaded a rushing attack that averaged 184.3 rushing yards per game and was part of an offensive line group that only allowed 17 sacks in pass protection.
TICKET INFORMATION
Season tickets for Delaware's inaugural 2025 campaign at the FBS level are now on sale. Fans who purchase season tickets can save up to 27-percent compared to single-game tickets. The Blue Hens will host six games at Delaware Stadium, and season ticket holders will have first access to upgrade their seats or parking, as well as purchase additional tickets for home and away games - including UD's matchups at Colorado (Sep. 6) and Wake Forest (Nov. 22). Partial plans and select individual game tickets will be available later this spring.
