Caroline Grasso Hired as Manager, Men’s Lacrosse Operations

NEWARK, Del. – Caroline Grasso, a 2020 graduate of the University of Delaware, will return to Newark as manager, men's lacrosse operations, head coach Ben DeLuca announced Thursday.
We're excited to welcome Caroline to the University of Delaware men's lacrosse staff, DeLuca said. Her passion for this University and the sport of lacrosse, her attention to detail, and her tireless work ethic will have an immediate impact on our program.
Grasso joins the Blue Hens' staff after working for NXT Sports for three and a half years as a manager of internal operations where she handled the reservations and communication in regards to club coach travel, tournament coordination, and equipment inventory. She also was the girls lacrosse communication and date coordinator at NXT, organizing internal communication and scheduling for teams and programs.
While at NXT, Grasso also worked for OHP Athletics in Wilmington, Delaware as a manager of operations and communication. There, she facilitated preparation and media for camps, clinics, and training, as well as coordinated communication with coaches and clients.
I am so excited to join Coach DeLuca and the entire staff, Grasso said. This is such a storied program with so much to look forward to as we join the A10. I am so happy to be back with the Hens!
Grasso has served as a club lacrosse coach for nine years with Greene Turtle MSI Lacrosse, Belles Lacrosse Club, and NXT LC. She has also been an assistant coach of varsity lacrosse at Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware since 2018.
A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Grasso graduated from Delaware in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in sport management from the Lerner School of Business. While at UD, Grasso was a four-year starter on the women's club lacrosse team that won a WCLA National Championship in 2017. She was recognized as a WCLA Second Team All-American as a defender in 2019 and was president and captain of the club her senior year. She also served as a manager for Delaware's varsity women's lacrosse program for one year.
