Football's Brose Named CUSA Offensive Lineman of the Week

DALLAS – University of Delaware football OL Fintan Brose was named Conference USA Offensive Lineman of the Week after his performance against Delaware State, the league announced Monday. It is the first time a Delaware Fightin' Blue Hen has earned a CUSA Weekly Award in program history.
In the 35-17 win over Delaware State, Brose shifted positions along the offensive front to make his first-ever start at center in the absence of injured OL Steven Demboski. A first-time captain, Brose anchored a line that only allowed two sacks and paved the way for 137 total yards in the rushing attack with an average of 5.3 yards per carry.
The Hens will travel to Boulder, Colorado for a clash with the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday, September 6 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will air nationally on FOX.
