Football's Demboski Earns CUSA Offensive Lineman of the Week

DALLAS – University of Delaware football OL Steven Demboski was named Conference USA Offensive Lineman of the Week after his performance against UConn, the league announced Monday. Demboski joins fellow OL Fintan Brose (Week 1) as the only two Fightin' Blue Hens to earn a CUSA Weekly Award in program history.
Demboski made his season debut in the 44-41 OT win over UConn after missing the first two games due to injury. The senior captain stepped in right where he left off a season ago and was the starting center, not missing a snap on offense. Under his leadership, the Delaware rushing attack had its best game on the ground, accounting for five rushing touchdowns and 247 rushing yards for an average of 5.5 yards per attempt.
The Blue Hens will head to Miami to take on FIU in their first Conference USA clash on Saturday, September 20 at 6 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+.
