Last Second Goal Leads Women's Soccer to Conference Win Over UTEP

EL PASO, Texas – A last second goal from freshman midfielder Lilli Lubic helped the University of Delaware women's soccer team earn its first win as a Conference USA member by a score of 2-1 on Sunday.
With the win, the Fightin' Blue Hens overall record is 8-1-3 and is 1-1-1 with four point in conference play.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- Lubic has a multi-goal game, her first of her career and led the Blue Hens in shots with three. Gabby Riley earned the assist on both goals.
- Sophia Hall started in net and collected five saves.
- Hall, Riley and Maura Fisher played all 90 minutes.
- Lubic's first goal came in the 30th minute of the first half. She received the pass from Riley and found the top right corner of the net.
- In the 57th minute, UTEP tied the game at 1-1.
- With less than 10 seconds left in the game, Lubic scored the game-winner to the bottom left of the net.
- Lubic scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season in Sunday's win. She leads the team in goals with five and points with 11.
- This is the third time the Blue Hens have won a game this season in dramatic fashion. They defeated Bucknell and William & Mary with game-winning goals with less than five minutes remaining.
- Riley's assist is her fourth and fifth of the season, and the ninth of her career. She leads all active Blue Hens in assists this season and assists in a career.
- Hall has started and played in all 90 minutes in each of the Blue Hens first 12 games.
