Football Welcomes North Dakota State Transfer CB Jaquise Alexander

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware football welcomes North Dakota State transfer CB Jaquise Alexander, head coach Ryan Carty announced Sunday. Alexander joins the Fightin' Blue Hens for his final year of eligibility as a mid-year enrollee.
The 5-11, 175-pound cornerback spent the previous four seasons at North Dakota State where he played in 34 career games. He tallied 50 total tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 0.5 sack, 2 INTs, and 12 PBUs from 2023-25. The Tampa, Fla. native didn't play in any games during his true freshman campaign. In 2024, he was part of the Bisons' FCS national championship team.
Alexander graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 2022 where he was a four-year starter and captain as a senior.
Born in Orlando, Fla., he is the son of Latarra and Cortney and has four sisters and a brother. He intends to study psychology at UD.
