DACCR, adidas Ink Five-Year Extension; Adds BSN Sports

NEWARK, Del. — University of Delaware Department of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation (DACCR) and adidas have agreed to a five-year contract extension starting in 2026-27, the organizations announced jointly on Monday. At the conclusion of the contract, the Fightin' Blue Hens will have been outfitted by adidas for 16-consecutive years. This partnership further strengthens adidas' position as the preferred provider of Delaware Athletics gear, now supported by BSN SPORTS as the exclusive provider of adidas uniforms, apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment.
"We are thrilled to continue this pivotal partnership with adidas," Interim Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation Jordan Skolnick said. "Having a partner in adidas, which values the student-athlete experience like we do, is really important to us. Our long-term partnership has been collaborative and innovative, which makes this extension and our future together so exciting."
The contract will allow for access to a dedicated local support team and industry-leading inventory through BSN SPORTS.
"We're proud to help Fightin' Blue Hens athletes, coaches, and fans step into a new chapter in school history with the best apparel and gear possible," BSN Director Collegiate Select Division Erika Whyte said. "They have built a ton of momentum across their program in the last few years, and we're excited to have a role in continuing to elevate the many great things happening across campus."

Located in Newark, Delaware, University of Delaware Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation sponsors 22 varsity sports and three spirit teams. Aiming to achieve excellence together, the department boasts a storied history of 543 All-Americans, 172 team conference titles, 282 individual conference crowns, and 10 national championships. Fourteen of UD's 22 varsity programs are housed in Conference USA, with eight others joining as affiliate members in the Atlantic Sun (women's lacrosse, men's and women's swimming & diving), Atlantic 10 (men's lacrosse), Mid-American Conference (rowing), The Summit League (men's soccer), and Atlantic Hockey America (ice hockey), and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (field hockey). The Blue Hens' student-athletes have achieved a 3.0 GPA or better in 24-consecutive semesters, including its best year ever in 2024-25 at 3.41.
