NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware student-athletes continue to shine in the classroom with a 3.315 grade point average (GPA) for the fall 2025 semester, marking the 24th-consecutive semester logging a 3.0 GPA or better and seventh-straight at 3.2 or better, the department announced Tuesday.
Our student-athletes commitment to their academics is exemplary and their collective GPA is an incredible achievement, Interim Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation Jordan Skolnick said. This is not only a testament to our student-athletes' dedication, but also our faculty, coaches, and support staff for their continued support and guidance.
Overall, 20 programs achieved a 3.00 GPA or higher for the semester. Women's golf (3.80) and men's golf (3.61) led their respective genders for the fall term. They were joined by track & field, cross country, men's soccer, and women's lacrosse with at least a 3.5 this fall.
Congratulations to the student-athletes for truly embracing the student-athlete experience, University of Delaware Faculty Athletics Representative Matt Robinson said. Committing themselves to excellence in both the classroom and in competition is a recipe for success now and in their lives and careers after graduation. Keep up the great work!
