Football Inks Bowling Green Transfer RB Kaderris Roberts

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware football has inked Bowling Green transfer RB Kaderris Roberts, head coach Ryan Carty announced Sunday. The midyear enrollee comes to UD with one season of eligibility remaining.
In his one season at Bowling Green, the 5-9, 175-pound running back appeared in all 12 games, with one start. He totaled 215 yards on 48 carries and 141 yards on 22 receptions with one touchdown. Roberts also returned nine kicks in 2025 for 251 yards and a 27.9 average.
He spent the 2024 season at Tennessee State but did not appear in any games.
From 2021-23, the Zellwood, Fla. native appeared in 22 games at Stetson. He amassed 785 total rushing yards on 136 carries with six touchdowns. He also brought in 25 catches for 142 yards while a Hatter.
Roberts graduated from Orangewood Christian High School in 2021. He totaled 1,910 rushing yards on 158 carries (12.1 ypc) over three seasons with 27 touchdowns. In the air, Roberts caught 72 passes for 1,508 yards with 20 scores. In the return game, he tallied 555 kick return yards and 358 punt return yards. On defense, Roberts tallied 92 tackles, six interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble. He also played basketball and competed in track & field.
Born in Orlando, Fla., he is the son of Sabrina Smith and has two siblings – brother Zeldrick and sister Tamiya.
