NEWARK, Del. – For the eighth-straight week, the University of Delaware women's soccer program is ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Association regional poll, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens entered this week ranked fifth, moving up one spots from last week's poll. This is the second week in a row UD has moved up in the regional rankings.
Delaware enters the week on a five-game unbeaten streak. UD's overall record is 8-2-4 and 3-0-1 in CUSA. After the Hilltoppers went up 2-0, Maggie Groh's goal in the 68th minute and Brooke Vogel's game-tying score in the 87th minute helped secure the draw.
UD is joined by CUSA foes Liberty (No. 1), Western Kentucky (No. 4), and Middle Tennessee (No. 8) in the regional poll. Click here to view the national and regional poll.
