Flanagan Named CUSA Women's Freshman Runner of the Week

DALLAS – Julia Flanagan of the University of Delaware cross country program was named the Conference USA Freshman Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Last week, Flanagan Placed 54th overall in the gold race of the Paul Short Run on Friday with a time of 21:41.70. It was the fastest 6K time amongst freshman runners in CUSA at the meet. Her placement is the second-best in program history at Paul Short Run.
Flanagan becomes the first Fightin' Blue Hen to earn a weekly conference honor since Susanna Wier back on October 12, 2021.
