SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - University of Delaware field hockey back Lily Cosner picked up the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week award for her performance in a hard-fought contest against Towson, the conference announced Tuesday.
Â
Cosner had two assists in the Fightin' Blue Hen's comeback win over Towson on October 31, both coming from inserting penalty corners.
Â
The two assists tied Cosner's career-high and was her second game over Delaware's three-game homestand to close the regular season that she dished out two assists.
Â
Her career-best 11 points on the season rank fourth on the team and fifth in the conference.
Â
This is the second-consecutive year that Cosner has won a conference weekly award in the final week of the season as she won MPSF Defensive Player of the Week in the final week of 2025 after recording two defensive saves against Lafayette.
