Women's Tennis' Gorman Earns CUSA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week; Gorman & Vadlamudi Earn Women's Doubles of the Week

DALLAS - University of Delaware women's tennis' Amelia Gorman picked up CUSA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week nod for the week of February 25, the conference announced Wednesday. Gorman and Navya Vadlamudi earned the conferences' Women's Tennis Doubles Athletes of the Week as well.
Gorman helped UD defeat then No. 45 Penn 4-3, clinching a No. 3 singles win that led to the victory. She won her two sets 7-6 and 6-1, respectively.
The senior and Vadlamudi won the doubles point for the Blue & Gold as well, winning their second doubles match 6-4.
This is Gorman's 25th and 26th-career conference player of the week award over her time in collegiate tennis.

The program will compete in its next match at Lehigh on Friday, February 27 at noon.
