DALLAS - University of Delaware men's tennis' Mason Robins and James Sclater earned CUSA men's doubles team of the week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Â
This is the first weekly award that either student-athlete has won in their careers.Â
The duo picked up their third and fourth doubles victories in as many matches during dual match play. The duo won 6-2 over Navy, and slotted in at second doubles against Bryant, where they competed against one half of the No. 69 doubles team in the country in Miguel Angel Machado, who they beat 6-3.
Both juniors have gotten off to a torrid start in the 2025-26 season, including 5-0 as a doubles pair, with four wins coming in dual match play.
Individually, Robins is 15-2 in singles and 10-6 in doubles. The reigning All-CAA Third Team recipient in doubles is 4-1 in third doubles. Five more wins over the team's final 12 matches will place Robins into the top 10 all-time for singles wins in a season.
Sclater is 5-3 in singles and 13-4 in doubles in a breakout season. His 83.3-percent winning percentage (5-1) in dual match doubles action leads the team.Â
The England native is also a CUSA Star of Tomorrow who will be honored at this week's 2026 Air National Guard CUSA Basketball Championships. The Star of Tomorrow is "an exclusive initiative that blends collegiate athletics and career development to provide top students from member institutions with meaningful access to industry leaders and career opportunities."
UP NEXT
The Fightin' Blue Hens will compete in their first match on the DFH Outdoor Courts against Monmouth on Friday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. The program will be celebrating Senior Day.
