NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team celebrated senior day in grand fashion defeating Monmouth 4-0 on the DFH Outdoor Courts on Friday afternoon. Both teams move to 10-2 with today's decisions.

Prior to the match, the Fightin' Blue Hens celebrated Aristotelis Bezianis, Tobey Lock, and Euan Mackenzie for their contributions to the program over their careers.

This victory was the team's 15th-consecutive home win and the third-straight sweep on the outdoor courts.

ON THE RECORD
"A 4-0 win on senior day against a 10-1 tough Monmouth team, what more could you ask for?" interim head coach Nathan Perone said. "It was great to honor Aristotelis Bezianis and have his family out there supporting today. Euan Mackenzie dominated from start to finish. Only fitting our man Tobey Lock getting the clinch for the team victory. Looking forward to going home tomorrow for our away match at Saint Joes."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Lock and Mackenzie got things started in fitting fashion on senior day, taking the first doubles match 6-3.
After a defeat on court two, Federico Garbero and Pere Prat took care of business to take the doubles point for UD, prevailing 6-3.
Mackenzie repeated his doubles performance taking down his opponent in third singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Mason Robins picked up his 16th singles win of the season, winning 6-2, 6-4.
Lock clinched the match for Delaware in front of his team and family in a tiebreaker, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
