Women's Swimming & Diving's Antaki, Legarda, McGillis, and Richards Compete at ECAC Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The University of Delaware women's swimming & diving team sent four individuals to compete at the 2026 ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships in Lewisburg, Pa., where Simoni Antaki, Naia Legarda, Torun McGillis, and Erin Richards took to the pool at Kinney Natatorium.
Delaware placed eighth of 16 as a team, with the four Fightin' Blue Hens competing against the full women's field, where entrants ranged from solo competitors to full teams.

RESULTS

Antaki, in the facility where she holds part of the 200-medley relay pool record set earlier this season, swam five races on the weekend. In the 200-yard IM, she improved by 0.01 seconds on her personal best at 2:12.05. In the A Final of the 100-yard breaststroke, she placed fourth with another career-best of 1:03.47. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Antaki finished in fifth with a time of 2:20.66.
Legarda swam both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle at this event. The freshman finished fourth in the B Final of the 50-free at 24.18 and eighth in the A Final of the 100-free at 52.35.
McGillis swam in the 200-yard IM and 200-yard backstroke, where she set a season-best in both races. The sophomore won the B Final in the 200-IM, swimming a 2:03.73, and placed third in the A Final in the 200-back at 2:00.17.
Richards swam the 200-yard freestyle at 1:56.74, and competed in time trials for the 200-yard IM and 100-yard butterfly.
