Wanzer Earns CSC Academic All-District Selection

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware women's basketball's Ella Wanzer was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday. It is the third-consecutive season that Wanzer has earned the honor.
Wanzer, a graduate fashion and apparel studies major with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, averaged 8.6 points per game across 28 starts this season. Her season was highlighted by reaching the 1,000-point milestone on December 20th against Akron, delivering a standout performance with 25 points while going 7-for-10 from beyond the arc, tying for the second-most threes made in a single game in program history.
The two-time team captain from Buffalo, N.Y. ended her career at UD sixth all-time in three-point percentage (36%) and 10th in threes made (130).
