No. 5 Men’s Tennis Defeats No. 4 Kennesaw State to Advance to CUSA Semifinals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The fifth-seeded University of Delaware men's tennis team defeated fourth-seeded Kennesaw State, 4-2, Friday afternoon to advance to the Conference USA Semifinals on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET against top-seeded (#48) Middle Tennessee. The Fightin' Blue Hens advance to 14-9 on the season, while the Owls, who were ranked nationally for most of the season, dip to 15-7.

"What a match today," interim head coach Nathan Perrone said. "Never give up. Coming off tough losses heading into the tournament to very good teams, we were very resilient today and brought it from start to finish. Still a lot to do better though and we will need to do so tomorrow against the top seed, MTSU. Let's go Hens."
