Women’s Basketball Adds Longwood Transfer Frances Ulysse

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has added Longwood transfer Frances Ulysse, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Saturday.
The 6-1 forward comes to Newark after spending three seasons at Longwood. In three years for the Lancers, Ulysse appeared in 92 games with 77 starts, averaging 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per game. As a junior in 2025-26, the two-time Big South Player of the Week averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds across 30 starts leading to being named Big South Honorable Mention. A true student-athlete, Ulysse was named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll for two-consecutive seasons.
A Montreal, Quebec native, Ulysse graduated from Vanier College in 2023. She was a four-year starter in high school and a two-time captain, averaging 15.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game during her final season at Vanier. Ulysse earned the honor of "Les étoiles du basketball," which translates from French to a regional all-star. She also competed in track & field in high school.
Frances is the daughter of Fredelyne Louis, and has a brother, Khalil, and a sister, Kiarah.
