Rowing's Varsity Four Wins MAC Boat of the Week

CLEVELAND – University of Delaware's Varsity Four was named MAC Boat of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
This was the first weekly nod given out to the Fightin' Blue Hens since joining the conference in July 2025.
The Blue Hens competed at the Cornell Invite, where the Varsity Four won both races it competed in on the day. In the first round, UD took down Bucknell with a time of 7:42.9, defeating the Bison by 32 seconds.
In round two, Delaware became the first MAC crew of the 2026 season to defeat an Ivy League NCAA open weight crew. They beat Cornell with a time of 7:41.35 to the Big Red's 7:43.97.
