NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware's I Heart UD Giving Day is April 29 and fans and friends alike can support Delaware Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation (DACCR) directly, making an impact on our 600+ student-athletes, who represent 22 varsity athletic programs and select participating club sport programs.

I Heart UD Giving Day is an opportunity for members of the entire UD community to collectively support the Fightin' Blue Hens. By participating in I Heart UD Giving Day, your donation will help enhance the student-athlete experience and provide the resources they need to achieve their goals.

Fans can start making early gifts as soon as Friday, April 24, at noon and will have until midnight on April 29 to donate and spread the word. Help build upon our commitment to developing inspired, conscientious, and engaged student leaders who impact the community while growing championship teams and experiences.

This year, the Fightin' Blue Hens will have multiple donor challenges to unlock additional gifts.

Athletic Director's Challenge
Thanks to the generosity of Director of Athletics & Campus Recreation Jordan Skolnick, once 750 donors make a gift to Delaware Athletics & Club Sports Projects, a bonus will be unlocked.

Delaware Football Kickoff Donor Challenge
Thanks to Blue Hens Dr. Andy Fields and Ms. Sandra Fields, the first 25 donors to the Delaware Football project will unlock a $1,000 bonus.

Delaware Football Donor Challenge
Thanks to a generous Blue Hen family, once 50 donors have given to the Delaware football program, a $10,000 bonus will be unlocked.

Delaware Rowing Donor Challenge
Thanks to Pennoni, once 25 donors have given to the Delaware Rowing team, a $1,000 bonus will be unlocked.

Delaware Women's Lacrosse Donor Challenge
Thanks to a generous Blue Hen supporter, once 25 donors have given to the Delaware Women's Lacrosse team, a $1,000 bonus will be unlocked.

Sport Specific Challenges
The two varsity athletics programs with the highest number of donors in both the blue team and gold team categories below will unlock additional monetary prizes towards their program:

Blue team: Baseball, Cheer, Cross Country/Track & Field, Dance, Field Hockey, Football, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, Rowing, Softball, Men's Swimming & Diving, Women's Swimming & Diving.

Gold team: Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Ice Hockey, Mascot, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Volleyball.

1st Place - $1,000
2nd Place - $500
