Women’s Golf Finishes Second at Conference USA Championship

FRISCO, Texas – Four Blue Hens finished in among the top 20 and the University of Delaware women's golf team fought to a second-place finish at the 2026 Conference USA Championship. The Fightin' Blue Hens turned in a three-round score of 20-over par 884 at the par-72, 6,345-yard Fazio Golf Course at the Stonebriar Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Blue Hens close out a successful 2025-26 season, the program's first in Conference USA. Delaware won two team tournament titles, defending its title at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational and winning The Nashville Invitational, while recording three team runner-up and seven total top-five finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After sitting in a tie for sixth place after Monday's opening round, the Blue Hens led the field with a 10-over par team score over the final 36 holes. The squad fired a 1-over par 289 on Wednesday but fell just short in its comeback attempt.
- Delaware finished with 32 total birdies for the tournament.
- Dunigan opened her championship with an even-par 72 on Monday and concluded with a 1-over par 73 on Wednesday. She totaled six birdies over her 54 holes and recorded her third top-10 finish of the season.
- Malosh had four birdies in each of her first two rounds as she turned in back-to-back cards of 1-over par 73. She finished with a team-high nine total birdies as she recorded her second top-10 finish of the season.
- Sawant turned in an even-par 72 over her final 18 holes to climb into the top 15 overall. She finished with five birdies for the tournament.
- Roberts buried four of her six total birdies during Wednesday's final round as she carded a 1-under par 71 to climb 13 spots in the standings and finish in the top 20.
- Kim also made a move on the final day, firing a 1-over par 73 to move into a tie for 21st. She finished with six total birdies over her 54 holes.
