NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has landed George Mason transfer Sanyiah Littlejohn, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Tuesday.
The 5-7 guard joins the Fightin' Blue Hens after spending her freshman season at George Mason. In her lone season with the Patriots, she appeared in 11 games, collecting 19 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals, while going 6-for-10 from the line.
A Philadelphia, Pa. native, Littlejohn graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 2025. She was a 1000-point scorer for the Crusaders, helping them to a PCL Championship and Pennsylvania state championship during her high school tenure. In 2025, she was named second team all-state. The guard was a two-time First Team All-Catholic winner, and was also named Second Team All-Catholic as a junior. She was named a team captain as a senior.
Born in the Mount Airy neighborhood of the City of Brotherly Love, Sanyiah is the daughter of Shannel Littlejohn and Tyrik Short and has four siblings. Her cousin, Cheryl Littlejohn competed in basketball at the University of Tennessee during the 1986-87 season where she won the Division I National Championship with the Lady Vols.
