Stueber Hired as Director, Development

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Department of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation (DACCR) has named Fritz Stueber its new Director, Development, Senior Associate AD, Development Casey Macdonald announced Thursday.
'We are thrilled to welcome Fritz to our development team," Macdonald said. "As a proud University of Delaware alum and former member of the football program, his deep connection to the university will be invaluable. He will play a key role on our frontline team, building relationships and strengthening engagement and philanthropy of alumni and supporters of UD Athletics."
Stueber, a 2012 graduate of the University of Delaware, joins the Fightin' Blue Hens after spending the last two years at IV-Active, a mobile wellness brand, as a Senior Business Development Executive. A football analyst for the Blue Hens' TV and radio broadcast team, Stueber has remained very involved with his alma mater.
"I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jordan Skolnick, Casey Macdonald, Jerry Oravitz, the entire Athletic Department, and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations for this tremendous opportunity to make a meaningful impact at my alma mater," Stueber said. "The University of Delaware has meant so much to my family and I since I first arrived on campus nearly 20 years ago as a football student-athlete. It has been an honor to serve the university in many capacities—as a student-athlete, assistant coach, business partner, TV and radio analyst, season ticket holder, and now in this important role. Delaware is a special place, with special people at its core and I look forward to helping advance the important work of engaging and growing support from our outstanding alumni, students, families, friends, and fans across the nation."
The Chagrin Falls, Ohio native spent a majority of his professional career at PepsiCo, working nearly nine years with the company in its Gatorade division, a longstanding partner of the University of Delaware and Delaware Athletics. Stueber held a variety of roles, including Market Development Manager - Gatorade (2014-21), Northeast Regional Manager - Consumer & Athlete Intelligence (2021-22), and Marketing and Sales Analyst - Gatorade National Field Sales & Marketing (2022-23).
Following his graduation from UD, Stueber stayed in the 302 with the University of Delaware football team as an Offensive Quality Control Assistant Coach for two seasons.
Stueber earned his bachelor's degree in organizational and community leadership from Delaware in 2012, where he was a member of the football team. He also holds an MBA from West Chester University where he graduated in December 2018.
Stueber resides in West Chester, Pa. with his wife Kelia ('13/AS) and their son, Shep.
