Women's Tennis' Hrynashka and Jurkowska Win CUSA Women's Doubles Team of the Week

DALLAS - University of Delaware women's tennis' Maryia Hrynashka and Paulina Jurkowska picked up CUSA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week nod for the week of April 8, the conference announced Wednesday.

The duo earned their second doubles team of the week award after tying the program record for most doubles wins by a pair in a career with 43 with their third win of the weekend over Johns Hopkins.Â

The doubles pair went 3-0 over the past week and have won nine of their last 10. Against Temple, they took a 6-2 win. In the team's return to Newark, they won 6-4 over VCU and 6-1 over Johns Hopkins. They moved to 12-4 in dual action on the year at the time of nomination.

This is Hrynashka's fourth CUSA laurel of the year, alongside Jurkowska's second.

Since nomination, the pair have broken the record for doubles wins in a career as a pair with their 44th.
