Women's Tennis Has Four Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four Delaware women's tennis student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens' Amelia Gorman, Maryia Hrynashka, Paulina Jurkowska, and Navya Vadlamudi also found themselves on all-conference teams after stellar seasons, helping the Blue & Gold to a CUSA Championship appearance.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore athletically and academically, and play in at least 75-percent of matches with a team score.
Gorman earned CUSA Newcomer of the Year, as well as a spot on First Team Singles and Second Team Doubles, alongside Vadlamudi. This was the psychology major's third-straight selection to the All-District team.
Hrynashka picked up her second-consecutive Academic All-District Team plaudit. On the season, the senior earned a Conference USA First Team Singles nod as she finished her career second in program history with 83 individual singles wins and First Team Doubles, while holding a 3.70 GPA as a Applied Molecular Biology and Biotechnology major.
Jurkowska also earned Second Team Singles in 2025-26, wrapping up her season 17-10 in singles play. The neuroscience major held a 3.85 GPA after her senior season with UD.
Vadlamudi closed out her career with the Hens with this honor after reaching a 3.95 GPA as an epidemiology major. The graduate student played to a 21-7 singles record, including 13-2 in the fifth spot, picking up a CUSA First Team Singles nod alongside earning Second Team Doubles honors for an 18-5 record with Gorman.
