Women’s Basketball Lands Milena Bigovic

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has added Milena Bigovic, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Thursday.
The 6-0 forward comes to Newark after playing professionally for the Montenegro National Team. Bigovic has an extensive professional career representing her country, appearing in the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship (2019), FIBA U20 Women's European Championship (2022), FIBA U20 Women's European Championship (2023), FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket (2024), FIBA Women's EuroBasket Qualifiers (2025), and FIBA Women's EuroBasket Qualifiers (2027). The Cetinje, Montenegro native helped lead the Montenegro National Team to a 98-56 victory over Turkey in the championship at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in 2022.
Milena is the daughter of Vaso and Radojka Bigovic, and has a sister, Maja. Maja was a teammate of Milena on the Montenegro National Team.
