Women's Basketball Signs London Caldwell

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has added London Caldwell, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Friday.
The 5-7 guard comes to Newark out of West Orange High School. An East Orange, New Jersey native, Caldwell was a three-year starter in high school, including being named captain for her senior season at West Orange. As a freshman, Caldwell attended St. Benedict Prep, before transferring to Immaculate Conception for her sophomore and junior campaigns. For her prep career, she averaged 15.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Caldwell was a 1,000-point scorer in high school and holds the single season record for double-doubles at West Orange with 12.
Throughout her high school career, Caldwell earned numerous accolades, including First Team All-Group 4, first team all-county, first team all-conference, and second team all-state. She also enjoyed team success along the way: 2023-2024 Essex County Champions (Immaculate Conception), 2024-2025 State Champions (Immaculate Conception), 2025-2026 Conference Champions (West Orange), 2025-2026 Essex County Champions (West Orange), and 2025-2026 Group Champions (West Orange).
London is the daughter of Nicole Caldwell, and has two brothers, Micai and Elijah, and a sister, Paris.
