Women’s Basketball Lands Jordyn Coleman

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has signed Abilene Christian transfer Jordyn Coleman, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Friday.
The 6-2 forward comes to Newark after spending the past season at Abilene Christian where she appeared in 23 games. The Zionsville, Indiana native, averaged 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game across 104 minutes of action in the 2025-26 season.
To start off her collegiate career, Coleman played at Triton College, a junior college in River Grove, Ill., where she made her mark in the record books as the program's all-time leading rebounder with 820, while ranking second with 163 blocks. She scored 1,008 career points, ranking fifth in team history. In 63 career games, she reached double figures 55 times with 44 double-doubles. As a sophomore, Coleman was named an NJCAA Division I Honorable Mention All-American and earned all-region first team honors, while leading the nation in offensive rebounds with 210.
Coleman graduated from Zionsville Community High School in 2023, where she earned one varsity letter from basketball.
Jordyn is the daughter of Sharanda Carr and Leonard McKinnon, and has a sister, Jaidyn, and a brother, Joe.
