Men’s Tennis Adds Five to 2026-27 Roster

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware men's tennis has signed five newcomers to its 2026-27 roster, interim head coach Nathan Perrone announced Tuesday.
Of the five student-athletes joining the Fightin' Blue Hens, four are Division I transfers, with one incoming freshman rounding out the group.
Mario Beckles, Adam Bojkovic, Matteus Froberg Dahlin, John Gentek, and Tianhao Hou make up the new faces on the completed 10-man roster for 2026-27.
Delaware is coming off of a 14-10 season in its first year as a member of Conference USA. The squad played to an 8-0 home record and picked up a playoff win over Kennesaw State in the CUSA Tournament.
Mario Beckles | Bordentown, New Jersey | Bordentown Regional (Saint Francis)
Beckles joins the Fightin' Blue Hens after a season at Saint Francis University. He played to a singles record of 14-13 and 9-15 in doubles action. He was a two-time NEC Prime Performer and Rookie of the Week. Beckles was named the freshman of the year across all sports from Saint Francis. After a season with the Red Flash, he enters the 302 with a UTR of 10.50 in singles and 10.47 in doubles.
Adam Bojkovic | Randolph, N.J. | Keystone School (Tulsa)
Bojkovic comes to Delaware after a season in the American Conference at Tulsa. He competed to a 7-10 singles record and a 5-8 doubles record with the Golden Hurricane. He holds a UTR in singles of 11.99. During 2025-26, Bojkovic spent a year at the County College of Morris in New Jersey, where he made Dean's List.
Matteus Froberg Dahlin | Lidingo, Sweden | Hersby Gymnasium (Rider)
Froberg Dahlin joins UD after two seasons at Rider University. He played in the first flight of both singles and doubles for the Broncs in 2025-26 as they won their first MAAC Championship in program history. Froberg Dahlin also earned First Team All-MAAC singles and doubles, being a unanimous pick in the latter. He won the MAAC Masters Singles Championship, earning a trip to the ITA Conference Masters, to represent the conference. At the conclusion of his sophomore year in Lawrenceville, he had a UTR of 11.75 in singles and 12.21 in doubles.
John Gentek | Moorestown, New Jersey | South Carolina Connections Academy
Gentek was rated a four-star recruit as the no. 4 player in New Jersey and no. 81 nationally by tennisrecruiting.net. The New Jersey native holds an 8-1 record against other four-star recruits. He earned the USTA Middle States Sportsmanship Award in 2021. Entering college tennis, Gentek has a UTR of 11.50 in singles and 11.48 in doubles.
Tianhao Hou | Shenzhen, China | Shenzhen (Hawaii)
Hou comes to the First State after two years at Hawaii. He recorded a 4-11 singles record and 4-7 doubles record as a freshman with the Rainbow Warriors. Hou graduated from Shenzhen No.3 Senior High School in 2024 after an impressive prep career. He won the Guangdong Province Championship in 2021 and 2022 and the singles and doubles championship on the 2020 Nike Junior Tour. He is a four-time singles champion of the Guangdong Province (2019-22). Hou has a UTR of 11.02 in singles and 11.81 in doubles entering his junior campaign.
