Women’s Tennis Receives Year End Northeast Regional Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. - The University of Delaware women's tennis program earned its third-consecutive ITA Year End Northeast Regional Ranking, while Maryia Hrynashka and Paulina Jurkowska earned a Northeast Doubles Pair Ranking for the second year in-a-row the organization announced Wednesday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens came in at No. 6 in the rankings after a historic season where it reached the finals of the conference tournament for the second time in three years in its first Conference USA campaign. The program tied its most wins in a season with 21, while winning 151 singles matches, breaking a team record. It defeated three opponents that received regional rankings in No. 4 Penn, No. 9 NJIT, and No. 10 Drexel.
Hrynashka and Jurkowska earned the No. 6 doubles spot in the rankings after they concluded their dominant Delaware careers in 2025-26, breaking the program's record for doubles wins by a pair, ending with 48. They went 26-9 on the year, including 17-5 in dual action. The CUSA First Team Doubles recipients were selected by the conference to compete in the ITA Conference Masters tournament in November.
