WILMINGTON, Del. – The University of Delaware rowing team secured 10 CRCA Scholar-Athletes of the Year nods, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced Friday.
This was the fourth-straight season that the Fightin' Blue Hens had at least 10 student-athletes earn the award.
Academic criteria included that all student-athletes must be at least in their sophomore season, and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher as of the end of the fall semester of the academic year. Athletic criteria consisted of either racing in 75 percent of spring races in an NCAA or IRA eligible boat, or racing in an NCAA boat at their respective conference championship.
